About the Role
This senior role will be responsible for ensuring the effective and quality delivery of the Transition to Work Program across the Perth South region, leading a team of over 20, including two Team Leaders and a cohort of regional staff. If you are passionate about supporting young people to enhance their chances of securing sustainable employment and education, this role may be for you!
Travel across the region will be required so holding an unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to drive are essential for this role. This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis based at Armadale and Cannington.
How will the Transition to Work Manager assist their teams through servicingof this program?

Lead and manage the team responsible for the delivery of Transition to Work (TtW).

Ensure compliance with the TtW Deed and Guidelines and Workskil Australia Policies;

Ensure the Region meets DEWR TtW Performance requirements, as set by Workskil Australia;

Ensure the delivery of the service and interactions with stakeholders are positive, professional, and in line with Workskil Australia Values, Code of Conduct, policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain a current TtW Employment and Education Regional Plan.

Engage with key referral organisations to generate eligible TtW direct registrations and document this in a TtW Stakeholder Management Plan.

Ensure the Workskil Australia TtW Service Model is delivered appropriately and effectively.

Develop strategies and employment initiatives with Participants to generate suitable education and employment outcomes.

Oversee the delivery of Youth Advisory Sessions (Career Development) for Digital Employment Service referrals in the region.
You will also be required to:
- Hold a current driver’s licence;
- Hold a valid WWC Check;
- Have a good understanding of WHS practices;
- Be culturally competent in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD/Refugee Participants, Employers and other Stakeholders;
- Demonstrated experience in a management or leadership role;
- Have a minimum of three years experience in Employment or Youth Services; and
- Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or Youth.
