Indooroopilly State High School invites applications from an enthusiastic and result-driven Teacher Aide to join our Student Services team until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined. In your role you will support a learning environment by monitoring student attendance, producing absence reports for senior leaders and liaising with parents/carers to verify student absences. You will also contribute to the effective and efficient operations of Indooroopilly SHS by providing a high level of administrative support in a fast-paced environment.About The Department Of Education

About The Role
Indooroopilly State High School welcomes applications for this Teacher Aide - Student Services (TAOO2) position. As a Student Services Teacher Aide your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate student attendance records, resolve inconsistencies etc.
- Manage roll marking for each lesson and follow up on any unmarked class rolls
- Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students including the delivery of first aid, administering medications etc.
- Roll marking for evacuation drills
- Enter all absentee emails/phone calls/SMS/notes/late notes/medical certificates and exemptions into DayMap
- Knowledge of OneSchool, DayMap and a current First Aid Certificate an advantage however training can be provided
