Job Summary Execute Service Work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with Accelleron standard processes and safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operations with customer and other Accelleron teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for Accelleron. Your responsibilities:- Field service work / Workshop repairs: attend site and perform field work, i.e.. breakdowns, preventative maintenance, install and commissioning. Workshop tasks: dismantling, assembly, cleaning of parts and using of precision equipment and machinery and apply safety and health rules and taking into consideration the actual site conditions.
- Planning/Coordination: preparation and control of all material, equipment and documentation needed for site activities and organized them in accordance with contractual and supplement documentation.
- Repair: Conducts detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and reports. Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and recommends changes such as new equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: prepares all technical and work reports to be signed by customer representative.
- Customer regulation: obtaining certain passes or attending classes for commencing of works.
- Mechanical trade certificate or 2 to 3 years’ experience working in turbochargers on marine vessels or mechanical fitter or diesel fitter.
- Experience in rotating machinery service, particularly in turbocharging service, is preferred.
- Familiarity with turbochargers is an advantage, as is product service knowledge of various turbocharger types installed on two-stroke or four-stroke engines.
- The individual should also have knowledge and skills in operating rotating machinery, such as balancing machines, lathes, and drills, as well as proficiency in using metrics and measuring tools.
- The applicant must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident and should be prepared for approximately 40% travel to sites for field service work.
