We are seeking a Finance Officer to join their dynamic team in their stunning new in Bowden!
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the finance team, supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day processes. Your role will involve liaising with tenants, banks, suppliers, and service providers, including council, state, and Commonwealth government contacts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial support to the housing team to ensure that income is recorded appropriately in the accounting system
- Prepare bank reconciliations, process banking and facilitate transfers to ensure that appropriate cash balances are maintained in Unity Bank accounts
- Invoice tenants for water charges
- Process purchases and payments and enter into Kypera Financials plus SharePoint to accurately record and make payment to suppliers and service providers
- Arrange payment to creditors
- Undertake general Ledger and other reconciliations as required
- Provide financial support to relevant housing team
- Provide support to the Finance Manager and other members of the Finance Team as required
- Maintain financial filing systems and records
- Respond to contractor calls/emails regarding their accounts
- Splitting/combining PDF invoices for processing
Qualifications:
- TAFE level qualifications in administration, finance or business (minimum certificate III in business administration or similar)
Experience Essential:
- Financial management principles and reporting techniques
- Demonstrated experience in financial management or bookkeeping
- Experience in working autonomously with broad guidelines
- Experience in working with high volumes of work requiring the establishment of priorities and deadlines
- Working with Children check
- National Police Clearance
