Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to take on a key role in supporting IT communications, project coordination, vendor management, and executive-level reporting. This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator to step into a more strategic and value-adding position, working closely with the IT team, business partners, and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, tech-savvy, and eager to contribute to the efficiency and success of IT initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Communications & Engagement
- Lead the development and execution of IT communications, ensuring clear and engaging messaging for business-wide updates, project changes, and system improvements.
- Work closely with the Change Manager to align IT messaging with business transformation initiatives.
- Develop a forward-looking communications roadmap to proactively address IT updates, key milestones, and system enhancements.
- Create professional presentations, announcements, and stakeholder reports.
- Project & Training Coordination
- Organise and coordinate IT-related meetings, training sessions, and vendor engagements.
- Maintain and update critical project documents, including Steering Committee packs and progress reports.
- Assist in pulling and preparing key reports, ensuring decision-makers have accurate and timely data.
- Support IT training initiatives by developing, reviewing, and managing training materials, including presentations, guides, and video content.
- SharePoint & Information Management
- Take ownership of IT SharePoint sites, ensuring content is structured, relevant, and up to date.
- Create and manage new pages, documents, and training materials as required.
- Act as the go-to person for organising IT-related information and improving accessibility for business users.
- Vendor & License Management
- Manage key IT vendor relationships, ensuring smooth coordination with providers such as Apple, Salesforce, Simpro, Dell, and Telstra.
- Oversee license renewals, tracking software and hardware contracts to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
- Act as the first point of contact for vendor-related queries and escalations.
- Strategic Business & Executive Support
- Provide high-level support to the Head of IT, including preparing executive packs, reports, and strategic presentations.
- Assist business partners with research, analysis, and IT-related reporting to drive informed decision-making.
- Streamline IT administrative processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience in supporting IT communications, project coordination, vendor management, and executive-level reporting
- Experience in preparing IT executive packs, reports, and strategic presentation
- Experience in license renewals, tracking software and hardware contracts to ensure compliance and cost efficiency. Act as the first point of contact for vendor-related queries and escalations
- Efficient in organising and coordinating IT-related meetings, training sessions, and vendor engagements.
- Experience with Microsoft suites, word, excel and PowerPoint along with admin tasks.
- Top-notch time management and organisational skills.
