An independent firm of Construction Cost Advisers is seeking an accomplished Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor (MEP / M&E) to lead the M&E component of their Perth-based projects.
This firm is a recognised leader in the delivery of cost planning, procurement, and commercial risk management services across key property sectors, including commercial development, hotels, residential, mixed-use, and data centres. - ✅ Take full ownership of M&E cost management on major commercial and real estate projects.
- ✅ Deliver pre- and post-contract services including cost planning, tendering, and contract administration.
- ✅ Provide accurate feasibility studies and detailed cost plans.
- ✅ Lead procurement processes, manage tender documentation and evaluate submissions.
- ✅ Act as the key point of contact for clients, delivering monthly cost reports and strategic advice.
- ✅ Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders at all stages.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Experience in a consultancy QS environment, ideally on large-scale MEP/real estate projects.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen – a proven ability to manage risk and add value.
- Proficiency in CostX or equivalent cost management software.
- AIQS or MRICS accreditation (preferred but not essential).
- Confident with high-level stakeholders and global clients.
- Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, technically strong, and a natural problem solver.
