Overview
Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging career opportunity? SA Health is seeking a dedicated Full-time, Ongoing Clinical Nurse to join our Adelaide Hills Community Nursing team within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.
In this role, you will be providing nursing services across various community health settings, utilising your consolidated experience and further studies. As a proficient practitioner, you will take accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others, and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
The Clinical Nurse role at this level is predominantly clinical in nature, with the allocation of appropriate portfolios negotiated individually based on your career development plan and performance reviews. You will support team coordination and the allocation of referrals, showcasing your expertise in advanced wound management techniques, Central Venous Access Device management, care of paediatric clients in a community context (including assessment and appropriate escalation), and stoma and continence management.
A key aspect of this position involves providing expert clinical advice and education to nursing staff in the community setting. Your proficiency and experience will be invaluable in shaping the delivery of high-quality care.
