About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will provide high-quality nursing care across a variety of health service settings, supporting the development of staff from competent to proficient practitioners. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care while also guiding and mentoring less experienced team members. Your accountability for professional standards and delegated activities will be crucial in maintaining excellence in patient care.
As an ANUM, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to drive practice improvements, support staff development, and oversee operational responsibilities, including rostering, recruitment, and resource management. You will contribute to the implementation of service enhancements and ensure continuity of care within the team. About You

- Qualifications & Experience – Registered Nurse with at least three years of post-registration experience and demonstrated competence in clinical practice.
- Leadership & Teamwork – Skilled in mentoring, supervising, and supporting staff while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Strong communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities, with the flexibility to navigate challenges in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge & Compliance – Understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and quality improvement processes to uphold best practices in nursing.
