ABOUT THE ROLE
The Aquatic Centre Manager and Director of Swimming will be responsible for ensuring the development of the Knox Swimming Program (School and Club), facilities and results across all School campuses to the highest possible standard. They will ensure that effective and safe services are delivered to Knox students, staff as well as external users of the Knox Aquatic Centre. The Aquatic Centre Manager will manage the Knox Aquatic Centre across the broad functions and services offered within the facility.
This a permanent full-time position, commencing in May 2025.
ABOUT YOU
- Qualifications or equivalent experience in Sports Management or Business Management
- Ability to establish effective relationships with students, colleagues, parents and the wider community
- Considerable knowledge in planning, organising, and implementing aquatics programs in a similar environment
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills that promote high team performance, with the ability to coach, mentor and manage staff
- Experience in developing budgets, report writing and management of a business unit
- Current First Aid, CPR Certificate, Lifeguard Certified and Austswim or Swim Australia Certification
- Royal Lifesaving approved workplace supervisor qualification
- Current Bronze Swimming Certificate
- Current Pool Plant Operator certificate (preferred)
- NSW Drivers Licence
