NHN Group Professional Cleaning Position – Medical Suites at Private Hospital (Lake Macquarie)
Location: Lake Macquarie, NSW.
Job Type: Casual with the opportunity to become Permanent Part-Time.
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift: Afternoon shifts starting after 5:30 pm.
Pay: $34 per hour.
The Role:
NHN Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Casual Cleaner to perform thorough cleaning and maintain high hygiene standards within medical suites at a private hospital in Lake Macquarie. Starting in a casual role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to transition to a permanent part-time position. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and previous cleaning experience (preferably in healthcare).
Duties include but not limited to:
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping of floors.
- Waste management, including the safe disposal of medical and general waste.
- Disinfection of high-touch surfaces
- Accurate record-keeping of completed tasks and incident report reporting when required.
- Compliance with hospital policies and regulations, including the use and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
You must have:
- Current drivers’ licence and reliable transport.
- Previous cleaning experience essential, particularly in medical or healthcare environments.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player when required.
- A professional attitude and commitment to providing a high level of service.
- Strong attention to detail and high standard of presentation.
- Good time management.
- Closely follow the approved scope of work and communicate cleaning opportunities or issues with the supervisor.
- Reside in the Newcastle/ Lake Macquarie area.
