A new role has been created within the finance team to support the organisation with cost accounting, available as an initial contract position.
The Role
As the Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for optimising the financial health of the organisation, key duties include the following:
- Develop and maintain cost standards and budgets for various products
- Cost allocation including analysis of production, labor and material breakdowns
- Preparation of detailed cost reports and financial statements
- Forecast future costs and provide long-term cost projections to aid in business planning
- Maintain and conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
Your Skills & Experience
- CA/ CPA Qualification
- At least 2+ years in cost accounting
- Strong ERP systems experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
