More About the Role:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analyse data, and implement innovative solutions to meet passenger needs and improve overall network performance.
  • Monitor service performance and recommend improvements
  • Review (OTR) data and recommended appropriate mitigations
  • Review school service times, routes paths and student numbers.
  • Develop appropriate shift adjustments to improve operational performance
  • Develop and optimise bus timetables based on customer demand and operational efficiency
  • Analyse patronage data and community feedback
  • Collaborate with other Busways teams and external stakeholders to deliver service and timetable changes
  • Prepare communication for school service changes.
  • Prepare supporting material for the submission of Bus Service Alteration Requests (BSAR)
  • Ensure compliance with commercial, legislative, and health and community standards.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as directed.

What We’re Looking for in the Successful Candidate:

  • Sound knowledge of public transport operations and the principles underlying the planning of public transport
  • High-level analytical and research capabilities, demonstrating a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office and intermediate to advanced excel skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially in addressing complex issues and working with cross departmental teams
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable, consistent, adaptable and take pride in your contribution.
  • A quick learner, who learns from mistakes and seeks to do better every day.
  • The ability to build and maintain successful relationships
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with complex matters.
  • Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Hold a current Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence issued by the relevant State
