About the Role
The Marketing Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of the company’s marketing and communications strategy, working closely with the Director and Sales leadership to deliver strong market presence and business growth. You will be responsible for developing and delivering all marketing campaigns, content creation, digital advertising, SEO/SEM management, brand messaging, and reporting across multiple channels. The role is responsible for the full marketing budget, agency relationships, and the performance of internal and external marketing functions.
You will have the support of an experienced advisor to help you transition into the role and provide mentorship, with the opportunity to shape the marketing function and team structure in the future.

You are a strategic marketer with a hands-on approach and a passion for driving brand impact and lead generation. You thrive in B2B environments, especially those with industrial or technical products, and know how to create marketing strategies that directly contribute to business growth.
You are both creative and analytical—just as comfortable mapping out a digital campaign as you are pulling insights from performance data. You bring energy, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset that allows you to work across teams, coach others, and manage agency partners with ease. Most of all, you are a proactive doer—someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets things done while inspiring others along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy to amplify the Waste Initiatives brand across B2B channels.
- Manage content creation across digital and traditional platforms, including web, social, print, case studies, PR, and video.
- Oversee SEO, SEM, AdWords, and retargeting campaigns, ensuring data-driven decisions based on performance analytics and acquisition costs.
- Maintain and enhance the company website and digital presence, supported by internal systems and external agencies.
- Manage internal team members and external suppliers to execute campaigns and marketing plans.
- Drive brand consistency across all touchpoints, including customer communications, sales materials, and advertising assets.
- Collaborate with Sales and Leadership teams to align marketing with business development goals.
- Monitor reporting and ROI metrics, producing data insights and recommendations for continual improvement.
- Own the end-to-end marketing budget, ensuring effective and efficient spend aligned with strategic priorities.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally in an industrial, technical, or commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms, including SEO/SEM, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and social media management.
- Experience managing agencies and/or marketing contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategy and execute campaigns across multiple channels.
- Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and creative software (Adobe Suite desirable).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decisions.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
