The Role
One area that they have identified as broadening their business is with the formation of a specialist infrastructure team to focus on the delivery of all road aspects of their projects in conjunction with the design of residential and industrial subdivisions. As a part of the development of this team, they are seeking to add a Senior Civil Drafter.
The Responsibilities
You will be responsible for working as a part of a wider team to carry out all AutoCAD related drafting works for the roads elements of subdivision projects of all sizes (intersections, roads, carparks, etc.). In addition, you will also assist in the drafting of other elements of these projects such as earthworks, drainage, stormwater, etc.).
As a Senior Civil Drafter, you will also guide, mentor and develop junior members of staff and will work with the Head of this group to allocate workload and to influence growth strategy.
The Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate:

• 7 years + of experience working as a Civil Drafter on land and urban development projects
• Experience of drafting all elements of subdivision projects with a particular focus on roads and associated works
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Experience of working for an engineering design consultancy in NSW with a knowledge of local council codes and standards
• Full working rights in Australia
