A Senior Estimator is sought by an established Painting Sub Contractor in Inner West Sydney, to manage tenders on commercial painting packages between $500k and $5 million. You will be a client facing Estimator with business development skills, who is comfortable meeting new clients and winning and pricing new business.The Opportunity:
- Working for a busy Specialist Painting Sub Contractor on commercial packages from $500k to $5 million on average
- You will be working with 2 estimators and reporting to a Director
- $200k to $250k package, plus bonus
- Immediate start
- Long term permanent opportunity, with scope for further career progression
- Full responsibility for preparing preliminary budgets, cost estimates, bid scopes, pricing proposals and leading tenders
- You will be tendering on projects from commercial Tier 1 and 2 builders, and it essential you have experience leading tender meetings with similar clients.

- This builder focuses on retail, hospitality, education and commercial projects
- Painting packages range from $500k to $5 million on average
- 30 years trading history, established client base
- Growth plans for 2025, with large order book of work confirmed
You will have:
- A Construction Management Degree/ QS Degree or similar
- Previous estimating experience with an Interiors Sub Contractor or Principal Commercial Contractor in NSW is essential
- Driven and keen to progress your career with a busy contractor
- Cubit or Cost X experience sought
- Experience tendering construction packages over $1 million
- A steady career background with solid tendering success history
- Experience dealing with Tier 1 / 2 Commercial builders is essential
- Ability to present and promote the companies capabilities to major head contractors
- Strong sales and business development skills, you will be comfortable meeting new contacts and developing key relationships
