Our first retail store opened in Lismore in 1948 and over the decades we have expanded our range, services, geographic footprint and customer bases to serve all farming needs. Today, we continue to deliver diverse farming solutions from the ground up with the business unit consisting of:
- 26 Norco AgriSolutions retail stores across New South Wales and Queensland.
- A team of agronomists, animal health and field sales specialists to provide our farmers with expert on farm advice.
- Animal nutrition experts serviced by three production facilities that manufacture quality stockfeed solutions.
- A commodities trading team who buy and sell wheat, sorghum and more.
About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity now available in our Kingaroy AgriSolutions Store for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised, self-starter to join our team on a full-time basis.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Provide agricultural advisory and sales service to clients and build business partnerships with our customer base through the provision of sound technical advice.
- Proactively source new customers to achieve branch KPI’s and sales targets.
- Inventory management, including ordering, receipting, stocktake and dispatch.
- Processing of sales and generating quotes.
About you:
You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with great customer service and sales experience. Able to meet deadlines whilst balancing a range of work and have a keen interest in an agricultural environment.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Strong customer service and sales experience.
- Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.
- Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health or Agronomy is an advantage.
- Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy skills including Microsoft office, POS and administration skills.
- Physically fit to perform the manual handling aspects of the role.
- A strong focus on Work Health & Safety.
- Drivers licence essential.
- Forklift licence or willingness to get one.
