South East Queensland Hauliers is a full service wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant, 5 minutes from the Port of Brisbane. Founded in the 1960’s, SEQH have grown to become one of the largest import/export wharf carriers whilst still remaining a family owned and operated business.
SEQH reside on company owned sites in both Hemmant and Toowoomba. Both of which are undergoing 2025 planned infrastructure developments that have been initiated by genuine growth. It’s an exciting time to join!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely stack containers in the yard.
- Perform general forklift maintenance and ensure cleanliness and operational readiness at all times.
- Adhere to WHS legislation and safe work operating requirements consistently.
- Assist the Yard Supervisor in maintaining site cleanliness.
- Support administration with paperwork and container checks.
Key Requirements:
- Current Reach Stacker License
- At least 1 year experience in reach stacking operations
- Ability to conduct general forklift maintenance and uphold safe work practices (essential).
- Ability to be flexible with rotating roster, changes every 2 weeks to day, mid-day, and night shift. ( see more details about roster below )
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to work well under pressure and follow direction
Roster:
- Week 1-2: AM Shift (4:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Week 3-4: Mid Shift (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Week 5-6: Night Shift (4:00 PM to 3:00 AM)
This pattern repeats every 6 weeks, rotating between the three shifts for all reach stacker operators.
