The Role
Are you ready for a fulfilling career change in stunning Tasmania? As the Care Manager at this well-established Residential Aged Care Facility in the Devonport region, you'll have the chance to lead a dedicated healthcare team that truly impacts the lives of residents.
You’ll oversee care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and cultivate a positive, collaborative environment within the facility. Your leadership will not only maintain high standards of care but also foster a nurturing, supportive space where residents can thrive, all while enjoying the stunning surroundings of Tasmania’s North.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the care plans and ensure residents' needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Implementing and maintaining a person-centred care model to enhance resident wellness and engagement
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and upholding Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Providing professional leadership to clinical and allied health team members, developing care plans, monitoring care quality, and fostering effective communication with residents, families, and stakeholders

Key Candidate Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing with AHPRA Registration
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, care governance, and clinical standards in aged care
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex care scenarios in an aged care environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged Care setting in a similar role
