Description
This newly created position is crucial to the operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials across the factory. You'll play a key role in maintaining efficiency, supporting production teams, managing procurement needs, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Duties:
- Receive, store, and distribute materials efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and accurately recorded
- Work closely with production teams to meet operational needs
- Assist with procurement tasks, including ordering materials and liaising with suppliers
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Profile
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A background in engineering or manufacturing is highly desirable
- Experience with procurement or inventory management is a plus
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
