The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Logistics and Transport industry. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of business and technical solutions by collaborating closely with key stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams. The Lead BA will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding a team of two Business Analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining high-quality documentation and requirements gathering.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Expand on high-level business requirements by working closely with stakeholders to refine and document detailed user stories in Jira and Confluence.
- Collaboration & Delivery Focus: Partner with development teams and solution architects to ensure technical feasibility, clear understanding of requirements, and successful delivery of solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating workshops, discussions, and feedback sessions.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor two Business Analysts on the project, ensuring consistency in requirements documentation, adherence to best practices, and overall quality of deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of BA processes and methodologies, particularly within the logistics domain.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and work proactively to mitigate them.
The Candidate
- Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in the Logistics and Transport sector.
- Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence for managing user stories and documentation.
- Ability to take high-level business requirements and break them down into detailed, actionable user stories.
