Our client is seeking a motivated apprentice to join their team. In this role, you will support licensed HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. Located in Waterloo APPLY NOW!!!
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience in:
- Installation and maintenance of air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical ventilation systems.
- Transporting and preparing materials, tools, and equipment for daily tasks.
- Troubleshooting and fault finding within air conditioning and refrigeration units.
- Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Operating and maintaining workshop tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
What we're looking for:
- Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety
- Ability to perform physical tasks
- Eagerness to assist, and support team members as needed while fostering positive working relationships
- A valid Driver's Licence and own vehicle
- Valid white card is a must
