The Role:
UHC are seeking a Disability Support Worker to support a male based in Goondiwindi, QLD. Our Participant sustained a spinal cord injury which is the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Support is required Monday to Sunday in the morning, evening and night including sleepover.
This position offers upskilling for suitable applicants.
Rate of Pay:
- Day - $50.00 per hour
- Afternoon - $55.00 per hour
- Night - $56.00 per hour
- Saturday - $70.00 per hour
- Sunday - $90.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Domestic assistance
- Medication administration
- Manual handling: transfer, reposition and hoist
- Catheter management
- Colostomy management
- Transport and accompany to community access + health and rehab appointments

Skills & Experiences:
- Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
