About the Role
As a Lifestyles Business & Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the financial oversight and funding management of our Lifestyles program. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal funding utilisation, compliance with NDIS guidelines, and effective financial planning to support the program's sustainability.
You will work closely with clients, families, support coordinators, internal teams, and government agencies to maximise client funding and improve internal financial processes. Additionally, you will provide strategic insights to senior management, ensuring informed decision-making for service planning and investment.

This is a full time role based on site at our Allambie Heights office.
Key Responsibilities:

  • NDIS Funding & Financial Management:
  • Serve as the primary specialist for NDIS funding within the Lifestyles program
  • Monitor NDIS claims, proactively addressing rejections and discrepancies and Debtor management of unpaid invoices
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise funding utilisation
  • Conduct financial modelling to assess changes in NDIS funding and their impact on service viability
  • Lead the implementation of pricing changes, ensuring compliance with NDIS Pricing Guidelines

Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Management:

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Client Engagement, Finance, Lifestyles) to ensure a whole-of-client approach to funding
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including NDIA financial departments, support coordinators, and families
  • Provide guidance to managers and frontline staff to navigate NDIS funding processes effectively
  • Advocate for government policy improvements by leveraging financial insights and sector knowledge

Reporting, Analysis & Compliance:

  • Analyse financial trends and share insights to maximise funding opportunities
  • Develop reports to inform strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS policies, guidelines, and funding requirements
  • Support the implementation of automated financial analysis tools and predictive income reporting

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Identify efficiencies in funding management, exploring automation and new financial tools
  • Lead sector research to remain updated on best practices and funding trends
  • Support the development of customer-friendly communications around funding changes

What We're Looking For
Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in financial management and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of NDIS funding models and pricing guidelines
  • Proven ability to interpret financial regulations and ensure compliance
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with an analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Experience working with financial reporting systems and business analytics tools

Desirable Criteria:

  • Five years of experience with NDIS funding will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in the disability sector or NDIA-related financial roles
  • Strong understanding of government funding structures and policies
