Your Team
This role sits within the Payments, Fraud & Scams Crew which is responsible for the strategy, customer experience, product, financial and risk management of Bankwest’s payment mechanisms. The Fraud and Scams team is specifically focused on supporting Bankwest’s customers who experience fraud or scams by ensuring we have the strategy and capability to maximise prevention and minimise customer and bank loss.
Do work that matters
The Senior Product Manager - Fraud & Scams will report directly to the Executive Manager, Fraud Delivery. This role is integral to improving and transforming the processes that delivers improved customer experiences in an ever-evolving fraud and scams landscape. You will provide analytical and coordination support and work closely with stakeholders to provide reporting insights and execute improvements.
On any given week you will
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business lines to provide a comprehensive view of inwards monitoring and detection related to financial crime, fraud, and scams.
- Present insights, risks, and emerging trends confidently and accessibly to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and coordinate governance forums and improvement activities across business lines and the Group.
- Determine data requirements and offer analytical support for trend reporting and insights.
- Track and optimize regular business and compliance reporting.
- Manage Risk InSite issues and incidents, drive improvements, and escalate as necessary.
- Represent Bankwest at Group forums.

- Proven analytical and reporting skills to drive insights and trends
- Strong knowledge and experience of reporting systems, such as Tableau
- Financial Crime experience (Highly desirable).
