The Role – Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Engineer to join our T&D Team in NSW, based in our North Sydney Office. In this client-facing role, you'll be a key player in providing expert technical and project management skills to support our ongoing activities. As a Principal Engineer, you will:
- Lead and Inspire: Proactively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure top-notch quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables.
- Be a Technical Guru: Provide expert advice and demonstrate your advanced technical skills, ensuring all analysis and design tasks meet the highest technical standards and client requirements.
- Drive Project Success: Utilize your high-level project management skills to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Make a Commercial Impact: Contribute significantly to the commercial success of projects and the team, and play a key role in successful business development.
About You – Are You the Right Spark?
- Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent, with approximately 15 years of experience in Transmission and Distribution.
- Member of Engineers Australia; CPEng or relevant industry certification.
- Extensive experience in a client-facing/client-management role with a knack for building and maintaining strong relationships.
- A well-established profile within the industry, actively involved in industry associations.
- Exceptional ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
- Proven project management skills, with a track record of achieving budget, timeframe, and client requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
- A cooperative and flexible work style, with a passion for teamwork.
