Primary Objective: As senior member of the school management team, the Assistant Principal is required to provide educational leadership in the formation, implementation and review of Departmental and school policies, educational programs and activities to ensure achievement of student outcomes. Howard Springs School is a rural school located close to the City of Palmerston. The school caters for students from Preschool to Year 6 in an inclusive and educationally challenging environment. The student cohort comprises students from a number of cultural backgrounds. Howard Springs School is a First Steps, Department of Education and Training/Charles Darwin University Teaching School and School-wide Positive Behaviour Support participant.
