We're looking for multiple Clinical Nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and diabetes education services in a variety of health service settings. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your expertise and contribute to improved health outcomes for our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proficient nursing and diabetes education services to clients, ensuring individual care plans are developed and monitored.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including the Clinical Senior Diabetes Educator, to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to education and research initiatives, including clinical teaching and clinical audits.
- Support change management and quality improvement processes.
- Take leadership in guiding less experienced staff and student nurses, ensuring a culture of continuous learning.
- Act as a resource person, providing leadership and clinical support within your team.
What We're Looking For:
- Registered Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
- At least 3 years of post-registration experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Experience in diabetes education or a willingness to complete relevant courses.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- It is highly desirable that you hold Postgraduate qualification in Diabetes Education (or willingness to pursue) and have a recognised Credentialed Diabetes Educator status (or willingness to work towards obtaining this qualification)
