About the role:
We are looking for an Inventory Planner to join the Bunning Merchandising Team!
In this role you will be responsible for enabling Buyers to engage with our Suppliers, Stores and Growers, and assist with comprehensive pricing analysis, allocation planning and execution, markdown and write off analysis and store performance analysis.
What’s Involved:

Complete analysis on past performance to develop forward forecasts which reflect expected demand, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time to meet customer needs

Manage allocation planning and oversee stock tracker management, considering the entire category

Execute allocation execution strategies for optimal stock placement and analyse sell-through rates

Support in the completion of range reviews and tenders, and develop assortment plans ensuring financial viability across all ranges, suppliers and classes

Evaluate promotional activities, product performance and space optimization for peak and off-peak trading periods
Who we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of supply, replenishment and stock management. They will have advanced excel skills and computer literacy, in addition to a high level of financial acumen.
You will have strong communication, planning and organisation skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships and influence others. Additionally, they will be able to make decisions at an operational level.
You’ll need:

Diploma or Degree majoring in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain

Previous experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, demand planning, replenishment planning or a similar role
-
High level of financial acumen and analysis
-
Management of sales, profit, stockturn, GMROI
-
Advanced excel skills
