Dietitian Assistant - Casual Position

About the Role
The Nutrition Department at St. Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a suitably experienced person for this casual position. Responsibilities include assisting patients with appropriate meal orders and data entry of meal orders within assigned patient care areas.
To be successful in this role you must possess well developed interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate with patients, their families and other team members such as nurses, dietitians and food service staff.
You are a team player and be able to prioritise and organise a workload and have excellent computer skills. The successful applicant could be rostered Monday - Sunday, please include your availability within your application.
The classification for this position is HS1A and the hourly rate is $27.75 per hour plus casual loading.
Your Contribution

Accredited degree, TAFE diploma or equivalent in a relevant area, such as food science or nutrition, or working towards the completion of such a certificate OR;

Extensive prior employment experience in similar role with evidence of in-house training

Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
