$95,630 - $113,411 p.a (pro-rata) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Plumbing students! Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students.

This is a permanent part-time role working 17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE).

About You

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Possess a Certificate III and Certificate IV in Plumbing
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in the plumbing industry gained no longer than five (5) years previously.
  • Possess the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly Regarded:

  • Plumbing License (Contractor License, Endorsed Contractor Certificate or Qualified Supervisor Certificate)
