- $42.70/hr + Super + Vehicle + opportunity for overtime
- Monday to Friday - 6:00AM starts
- Onsite work throughout the Sydney metro area
The Opportunity
Covering the Sydney metro area, we are seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics for full time work.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services
- Work on trucks, trailers and heavy mobile equipment
- Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
- Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly
- Ensure all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly
- Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
About You
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Heavy Rigid licence (desired)
- A strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
