The Sustainability Manager is the foremost advisor to JLL’s clients on sustainability matters.
Their vision and strategic nous help our clients develop and execute a tailored sustainability strategy, including pathways to Net Zero emissions.
The role will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and industry partners to promote sustainable practices and drive innovation.
The opportunity could be based in any city within Australia.
Key responsibilities:

Being a primary point of contact and representative for sustainability matters.

Collaborating with clients to help them develop sustainability practices that align with their organisational needs and operations.

Identifying opportunities for projects and initiatives that reduce energy consumption and save our clients’ money. (Lighting upgrades, solar PV and battery storage, energy tariff reviews, air conditioning upgrades or controls modification, or ongoing monitoring and tuning).

Assisting other JLL account teams to ensure sustainability is incorporated into decision making and processes.

Managing multiple prominent clients’ green lease obligations, including completing NABERS ratings, developing site-specific energy management plans, and chairing tenant-landlord sustainability committee meetings.

Completing energy audits to identify and prioritise energy efficiency opportunities, preparing business cases for these opportunities, assisting our entities to progress these through to completion, and completing measurement and verification to verify savings.

Developing and enhancing systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance.

Monitoring and analysing utility consumption data to identify energy efficiency improvements.

Completing NABERS ratings.
Before you apply it's also worth knowing what we are looking for:
You must be an Australian Citizen to comply with our clients requirements.
You hold superior communication skills and can provide expert advice to clients on sustainable real estate practices.
Preferably you have experience working with government entities, and familiarity with commonwealth policies for sustainability, procurement and spending.
NABERS assessor qualifications will be advantageous.
