Descriptionob Title: Cloud Tech Lead / DevOps Product Owner
Location: Sydney
Contract Duration: 12 Months renewal
Responsibilities:
- Provide the technical vision for cloud DevOps projects.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks.
- Perform day-to-day technical tasks within the team while also providing hands-on technical leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure the quality and performance of cloud solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure), architecture and cloud Infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Must-Have Skills:
- Jenkins: Expert in configuring new instances from scratch, advanced troubleshooting, creating complex jobs, and understanding advanced plugins1.
- PowerShell 5: Proficient in writing advanced scripts, functions, modules, error handling, debugging, and task scheduling.
- Docker: Deep understanding of Docker architecture, Expert in writing and optimizing Docker files, managing Docker images, and handling environment variables and secrets inside containers.
- Git: Expertise in repo structure, branching strategy, Git hooks, merge strategy, and debugging Git issues.
- Azure Cloud: Advanced PowerShell automation for Azure, knowledge of infrastructure resources like Vnet, Subnets, Load Balancers, and Azure Monitoring & Logging.
- Terraform: Proficient in Terraform fundamentals, modules, variables, outputs, and secret management.
- Linux: Proficiency in Red Hat shell commands for common system admin tasks and familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker on Linux.
Nice to Have:
- Harness CI and CD: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment using Harness.
- Kubernetes (K8S): Knowledge of key concepts like pods, deployments, services, and namespaces. Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
