Laboratory Technician

Description:

Based in Cosgrove, we are looking for Laboratory Technician that will sit within a small team servicing Quarries and Concrete business in Victoria. Duties involve undertaking sampling of construction materials, preparation of test samples, testing and physical analysis of these samples, reporting of test results and maintenance of records.

Your Day will involve:

• Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
• Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
• Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
• Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
• Other duties as directed by the Lab Supervisor and Quarry Manager
