We’re on the lookout for a passionate Early Childhood Education Manager to join our Children’s Services team and support our wonderful childcare centres across Queensland. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing operations in your portfolio, making sure our early childhood services and programs are delivered to the highest standards. Together, we’ll bring C&K’s vision, values, and priorities to life for children, families, and communities.
- Full time - 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Fixed term contract until 14 November 2025 with possible extension
- Applicants must be prepared to travel across the C&K centres located across QLD

Help shape the future of children in our care
In this role you will lead and support service delivery, including implementation of new services, to promote integrated approaches and to achieve quality outcomes, and regional objectives aligned with C&K strategy, priorities, and values. You will:
- Apply effective communication and leadership strategies to engage staff, and working collaboratively, including partnering with other services in the area to support and inspires a shared sense of purpose and to deliver outcomes for children and families
- Manage service performance to drive continuous improvement
- Support services to identify and be responsive to client/community needs.
- Engaging with the regional management team to ensure service needs and outcomes are addressed
What you’ll bring
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have:
- ACECQA approved bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards
- Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and supporting early childhood education and care services/programs to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Willingness to travel when required across your region
- Experience in multi-site management is desirable
- Practical understanding of key issues, strategies, and best practices in early childhood education, child health, wellbeing and inclusion, early childhood curricula, and development frameworks
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate across team collaboration and cooperation to achieve best practice outcomes in child wellbeing and inclusion
- Skills, capability and experience in exploring options and implementing innovative strategies to support and manage service delivery and business outcomes, including analysing trends and data; developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships; and engaging with research and best practice.
