About the Role:

Join BaptistCare as a Housing Manager at BaptistCare Clinton Place, a dynamic community for seniors located in the heart of Goulburn. This facility consists of 64 one-bedroom units and 12 two-bedroom units, providing a vibrant and engaging environment for its senior residents.

This role involves providing tenancy and asset management services, connecting residents to the services they need to sustain their tenancies, and achieving their life goals. You will work closely with our onsite team, support tenants and household members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality housing services.

About You:

  • Hold a Diploma or degree, or equivalent with professional experience
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and experience, preferably in housing, retirement village, or other community services field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience to effectively develop and support staff
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the business activities of Housing
  • Ability to successfully manage residential tenancies
  • Excellent skills in building effective customer relationships, building a cohesive community and maintaining a welcoming and harmonious ambience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise professionally with all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated capability to manage diversity and implement social inclusion strategies
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs
  • Strong negotiating and problem solving skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise own and team workload
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
  • Ability to work in harmony with, and support the Purpose and Values of BaptistCare
  • High level computer skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to address on-site emergencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times
  • A Valid NSW Driver's License
  • NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment purposes
  • A current First Aid Certificate
