Description:

The Country Manager is responsible for leading the Demand team (Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and IT) to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and market development within the local community. They will formulate and execute data-driven business plans while fostering a high-
performing team in a fast-paced environment.
This role collaborates closely with APAC functional heads, who manage the Supply team (Operations, Customer Service, and Order Fulfillment) and other functions like Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources. The Country Manager ensures effective communication, collaboration, and feedback with these functional heads as business partners.
Additionally, the Country Manager facilitates collaboration between the Demand team and other teams, aligning efforts for operational efficiency and overall success.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position manages the Demand team (sales, marketing, accounting, and IT departments) in the assigned countries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for the company's performance in assigned countries, focusing on Sales, Marketing, and other Demand team functions.

• Develop, plan, and execute growth strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.

• Provide business plans, budgets, and reports, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and approval by the Executive Committee.

• Monitor and analyze business unit performance, offering recommendations and insights for growth on a monthly and quarterly basis.

• Build high degree of trust and relationship with field leadership, mentoring their career path and performance.

• Influence field leaders through skillful questions, active listening, and exemplary coaching.

• Develop strategies for key leaders to promote growth of distributor network. Travel throughout region on continuous basis conducting meetings and training sessions with leaders and members.

• Lead the strategy for regional events and recognition programs, ensuring they effectively motivate, reward, and retain Brand Partners, at the same time, attract new recruits.

• Tailor training materials and programs for the region, providing motivational and skill-building training to distributors and sales leaders.

• Provide visionary leadership to the Demand team, ensuring team members are equipped to execute strategies effectively and aligned with business objectives.

• Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Demand team, monitor progress, and collaborate with Department Managers and Supervisors to ensure targets are achieved.

• Establish manpower plans and foster a high-performing, motivational work environment that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Demand team.

• Drive and maintain effective collaboration, communication, and feedback between the Demand team and other functions, including Supply (Operations, Customer Service, Order Fulfillment), Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources.

• Act as a check-and-balance system by observing team dynamics and escalating performance or employee-related issues to functional heads for resolution.

• Direct financial strategies, including budgeting, risk management, internal controls, and tax compliance, to ensure optimal returns and alignment with organizational goals.

• Ensure timely submission of management and financial reports to regional and corporate offices.

• Define and implement policies and performance standards to improve organizational effectiveness.

• Review and enhance processes to ensure operational efficiency and innovation.

• Maintain ISO 9001 standards, including operational training plans, personnel management, and compliance with GDP and other quality regulations.

• Ensure products and services meet all relevant regulations, directives, and quality standards, including corporate standards.

• Lead health and safety efforts, ensuring preparedness and swift action in emergencies while fostering a safe work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.


Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in multinational organizations, with a proven track record in direct selling, network marketing, or related industries. This includes leadership experience in sales, marketing, and distributor management.

• Strong business acumen and experience in driving strategic sales, market expansion, distributor development, and recruitment initiatives.

• Proven ability to work effectively with executive leadership teams, cross-functional teams, and field leaders, providing strategic guidance to drive business growth, distributor success, and leadership development.

• Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal teams, field leaders, and business partners to drive revenue growth and sustainable business outcomes.

• Dynamic public speaker and trainer with the ability to engage and motivate large audiences, deliver impactful training programs, and mentor leadership teams effectively.

• Exceptional analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate market conditions, uncover growth opportunities, and implement data-driven strategies to achieve a competitive advantage.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration at all levels of the organization.

• A proactive and results-driven leader, able to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

• Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory standards, and best practices within the direct selling and network marketing sectors.

• Advanced organizational and planning capabilities, with the ability to lead complex initiatives and manage competing priorities effectively.

• High level of professionalism, accountability, and emotional intelligence, with a demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
