Australian Scaffolds & Access is a reputable national leader focusing on eliminating risks associated with working at heights through intelligent design and safer work practices across all industries. We provide an impressive range of products for sale and hire.

Following our substantial growth over the last five years of our edge protection products to better support the client base in Melbourne that we had been supplying from Sydney and continue to grow, we opened a local VIC office and warehouse in Keilor East late in 2024. Starting with a full-time local salesperson we are ready for a second team member.

A Unique Dual Role

This role is firstly responsible for all aspects of managing local warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching our edge protection products efficiently and safely.

Secondly, for 20-30% of your week, you will involved in the sales process including answering client enquiries and responding to walk-ins during peak periods and when the salesperson is onsite with customers.

Reflecting the dual role in addition to a base hourly rate of $25.22 your package will include, a bonus system for meeting warehousing KPI's for delivery and customer service as well as commission on sales.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience with construction or working at heights

Did you start your career in the building industry as a roofer, scaffolder or carpenter, and enjoy client interactions, and now find yourself wanting to stay in the field but get off the tools?

Or maybe you are in warehousing or administration within the construction industry and talking about construction for so long that it is now second nature.

Learning-Focused

A key component of success with us is to never stop learning or wanting to know more and understand things better to keep yourself up to date on our evolving product range, legal requirements for working at heights and general WHS, technology advances across the construction industry and even what is happening in the economy. Then there is the ongoing quest to improve yourself and, finally, a curiosity about everyone you engage with.

You are a local

We’re still working on the mythical work/life balance, but we are definitely beyond battling the traffic each day. We support your flexibility to merge errands and tackle surprises in the working day without giving up a day of work or leaving your family stranded.

Drivers licence

Much of our work is over the phone but you may be required to visit client work sites.

Full training and support

The second part of your success is an immediate and continuous commitment to training. This includes technical training for the BUTLIN Guardrail edge protection product range, our administrative systems and the art and science of selling. We will bring you up to Sydney for parts of this training and the see the bigger team in action.
