Description:
Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Engineer for 9 months + Contract in Nerang.The Senior Engineer (Civil) will provide technical advice to ensure efficient and effective asset management of state-controlled road infrastructure. This role is based in the team with a strong focus on providing technical expertise to support design, construction, and maintenance processes.
Skills and Experience required includes:
- Engineering degree or equivalent which is assessed by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
- Conduct assessments of road infrastructure and prepare reports on recommended engineering solutions to particular problems.
- Develop asset management strategies for transport infrastructure that minimise whole of life costs.
- Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components, and systems, involved in supporting project management and delivery.
Government experience would be highly regarded.
