We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director (2IC) & Educational Leader to lead our brand-new, 83-place service in Rochedale , set to open in June 2025 . This is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a centre from the ground up!
About the role:
- Provide guidance and direction to educators through collaboration
- Offer support to educators to effectively implement the planning cycle to enhance practices and programs
- Lead, develop and implement effective and valuable educational programs within the service
- Ensure all learning is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework
- Encourage and demonstrate appropriate and respectful communication and behaviours within the service
- An ACECQA-approved Teaching Degree (preferred) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience in a similar role advantageous
- Current Working with Children Check
- Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
- Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Strong computer skills
- Current approved First Aid Certificate
- Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
