About the opportunity
Southern Cross University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering is committed to delivering high-quality education and research that prepares graduates for industry success. The Faculty is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Engineering (Manufacturing) to contribute to the Faculty’s teaching, research, and industry engagement. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, including curriculum development across blended and online modes.
About you
We are looking for an academic with expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly manufacturing engineering, who is passionate about education, research, and industry collaboration. More specifically, you will have:
A PhD in Mechanical Engineering. A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching mechanical and manufacturing engineering, incorporating contemporary educational technologies. An appropriate research track record, including publications and funding applications. Experience in supervising research students. Evidence of active participation in industry partnerships, professional bodies, and/or community engagement.Salary and benefits

Full-time, continuing (permanent) Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480. Generous relocation support available. Academic Level B or C. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience. The base salary for Academic Level B ranges from $110,611 - $130,814 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $153,052. The base salary for Academic Level C ranges from $134,848 - $155,046 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
