Looking for a chef with experience with making food from scratch, breads, doughs, desserts and savoury, influenced by seasonally changing produce from locally sourced farms with a European influence for a restaurant in Kenmore.
We are open across breakfast, lunch and dinner with a strong team in place, and looking for someone to take the reigns of the kitchen and lead the team, whilst contributing to specials, and slight menu changes with the seasons. Working closely with the head chef to ensure the delivery of functions and the a la carte restaurant operate smoothly, with a high standard of food.
You will be responsible day to day for ensuring the standards in the kitchen are in line with the expectations of the venue owners and head chef, and that we have suitable quantities of stock on hand whilst keeping wastage low.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience cooking from scratch, making our desserts, pasta and baking in house, as well as utilising fresh and local produce to create interesting and creative dishes in the restaurant.
Pay will be commensurate with experience, candidate should be willing to be flexible across a variety of shifts to work with the strong team in place, as well as assist with our events around Brisbane as they happen throughout the year.
