We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, passionate, and results-driven Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. This role covers a territory spanning Mackay and the Bowen Basin, focusing on servicing new and existing accounts to achieve maximum sales growth and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for driving both sales and trading margin growth, while also developing strategies to enhance customer service levels.
Your key responsibilities:
- Seek and develop opportunities for growth through strategic planning and fact-based analysis
- Achieve budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets through product basket optimisation
- Develop and manage an effective territory call plan for existing and identified customers
- Work collaboratively and strategically with Customer Care and Supply Chain colleagues
- Plan and develop strategies based on anticipated customer needs
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Exceptional skills in account management or business development, with a focus on maximizing sales opportunities
- Strong knowledge of the Mackay region and market, coupled with excellent relationship management with stakeholders
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and a proactive attitude that enhances team culture
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across different teams, demonstrating commercial acumen in pricing and margin impacts
- Skilled in identifying new marketing opportunities and developing actionable strategies to capitalize on them
