What You’ll Do:
- Ensure customers get what they need, when they need it: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely dispatch.
- Stock management: Handle incoming and outgoing stock, maintain inventory levels, and keep shelves well-organised.
- Liaise with suppliers: Work with suppliers to manage stock deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Support customer interactions: Assist customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email, ensuring enquiries and requests are handled efficiently.
- Make friends with customers: Forge connections that last, focusing on relationships that go beyond just business transactions.
- Be adaptable: Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed to support the team and the store.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are what truly matter.
- Self-motivated: You’re able to manage your own time and tasks without needing constant direction.
- Eager to learn: You’re motivated to master our products and use that knowledge to help both customers and your team.
- Detail-oriented: You ensure accuracy in stock control and order fulfillment, maintaining high standards.
- Hands-on: You’re comfortable with the physical demands of a storeperson role, including lifting and moving stock in a fast-paced environment.
- Licences: Drivers licence is essential, and a forklift licence is desirable (we are happy to support you in getting your forklift licence if you don’t have one)
