The Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate Speech Pathologist looking to work within a school based setting . Working as part of our wider collaborative inter-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, person-centred private speech therapy within the school environment, with the option to also see private clients within our clinic located in Bertram [near Kwinana].

At Kern, we working in a ‘Team Around the Person’ approach, meaning you will have access to and be supported by a team of OT's, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Therapy Assistants, Exercise Physiologists and other Speechies. We believe in working with families, teachers and other external stakeholders to build the capacity of those seeking support to create amazing outcomes for our clients.

As part of this role, you will have access to professional development, internal mentoring and specialised support , delivered by our highly skilled seniors, team leaders and wider leadership team!

What you will need to bring:

• A desire to provide optimal care for your clients, using your existing skills, but more importantly by pursuing continuous professional growth and improvement

You should have the standard qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) or approved equivalent
  • SPA registration
  • A valid working with children check
  • A valid West Australian drivers’ licence
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
