About the Company
Our Client has been producing single storey, double storey, and dual occupancy homes in Sydney for the past 25 + years, building over 350 + homes across NSW South West areas including Leppington, Oran Park and Spring Farm. This builder has developed strong relationships with well-known industry partners to deliver a high-quality product at an affordable price.
This builder has an ongoing commitment to provide a high level of support throughout the pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages to their customers. We are looking for a highly experienced Site Supervisor to join the construction team based in Southwest Sydney.
About the Role
Reporting into the Area Manager and Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day build of greenfield sites and KDR's across the Southwest region and M5 corridor.
Duties will include:
- Managing the overall performance of each project from commencement to handover
- Liaising with trades and sub-contractors
- Checking material orders
- Lead a team of site staff in delivering projects
- Ensure that project milestones are followed and met on time
- Undertake project quality assurance
- Manage defective work
- Complete detailed daily site diaries
- Ensure that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and to specification
- Ensuring trades are complying with Safety Management Systems and WH&S legislation's
What You Need
- Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction will be highly favoured
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Supervisor with a Project Home Builder or Developer
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed orientated and a strong understanding of the NCC & BCA
- Current drivers license
