THE POSITION
- Fault finding, reactive maintenance and assisting other trades with a range of carpentry & handyman tasks
- Actively manage and meet response times, rectification times and deadlines
- Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
- Provide mobile device work orders, updates and time estimates, including risk assessments.
- Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works
THE PERSON
- QLD Carpentry and/or Building Trade Qualification essential
- Must be available for a rotating (between the hours of 6am-6pm) and participate in the after hours on call roster
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Proven track record in maintenance, ideally within a healthcare environment
- Ability to supply their own personal hand tools
- Knowledge of QFM would be advantageous
- Current drivers license
- Valid and current National Police check (within 3 months), and other immunisations will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position
