The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Executive Support Officer to be part of our Corporate Services Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive executive support service to multiple Directors within the Corporate Services division and broader agency governance committees.

The role is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer and Director, People and Culture by providing a full range of executive and business support services, including email and diary management, meeting and travel coordination, minute taking, correspondence preparation and other administration as required.

The role contributes to delivering the agency’s priorities including Perform Well - Perform as a modern, flexible, and responsive organisation that values its partners and people.

Special Conditions

• Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
• Ongoing opportunity.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

• Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
• You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.
• Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
• The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.

Remuneration

ASO3 - $67,589 min - $72,033 max per annum, plus superannuation
