An opportunity exists to join Children’s Health Queensland in an exciting new initiative. The Dakabin Youth Hub, based at Dakabin State High School and operated by Children’s Health Queensland is a space for children, young people and families to access wraparound support for material basics, social and emotional wellbeing and health support, and to enhance learning and student engagement.ᅠThe Hub endeavours to provide a safe space for young people to access a range of services in partnership with the school. Through engaging with the Hub, young people will be proactively supported to navigate the varied and complex life challenges.

The position of Senior Youth Health Clinician – Dakabin Youth Hub will:

  • Support the development of services and activities to enhance the health and wellbeing of children, youth and their families within the Dakabin State High School community.
  • Coordinate and implement a soft-entry, early intervention and prevention access for youth accessing the Hub.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work within and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of the Dakabin Youth Hub.
  • Support navigation through clinical and other services for children, youth and families accessing the Hub.

This is one position being advertised across three professional streams: AO, HP, and NG. Each stream has its own detailed role description
