Backed by Global Work & Travel, we’ve already achieved break-even and are now scaling to become a major player in the travel industry. To support our growth, we’re building out a high-performing sales team - starting with a driven Sales Team Manager to lead from the front at our new Melbourne CBD office.
The Role
We’re looking for a Sales Team Manager who can drive sales while building a team beneath them. Initially, you’ll be on the front lines, converting inbound leads into bookings and fine-tuning our sales processes. As you on-board your first sales reps, you’ll transition into a leadership role, managing and developing the team to maximize performance.

What You’ll Do
• Convert inbound leads into bookings via phone, live chat, and email.
• Set the standard for sales performance and establish best practices.
• Hire, train, and mentor new sales reps as the team expands.
• Track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Work closely with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
• Develop and refine sales scripts, objection handling, and follow-up strategies.
• Transition into a full leadership role, moving away from day-to-day sales as the team grows.
Who You Are
• 3+ years in sales (travel industry preferred, or experience selling high-ticket products).
• Proven closer with a track record of converting inbound leads into sales.
• Leadership experience - you’ve led a phone-based sales team before.
• Data-driven & process-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
• Resilient & proactive - you take ownership and make things happen.
• Strong communicator who can build trust with customers and colleagues.
• Experience with CRM systems, sales automation, and reporting tools.
• Have a passion for travel, strong geography knowledge and experience with B2C.
